Hello everyone.. nice to talkin' with all of you, here's the deal:

There's a issue on my 2007 HHR, when i put the turn signal (left or right), the stick doesn't return when the steering Wheel return to it right position (straight).. I need to set the stick manually.. does anyone knows if there's something wrong with the turn signal stick?.. if this issue can be fixed by myself or maybe i need to replace whole stick mechanism?..

Please, help me to find what's goin' on... i'll be happy to hear any suggestion or comment...

 

It's in the switch itself. It's an easy removal. Once the switch is out take it apart carefully. Inside is a flat spring,which,over time,gets a bend in it,and the cam in the column no longer makes contact with the bent spring. Take the spring out,and reverse it,so the bend points towards the column,reassemble the switch and reinstall. Done,good as new! There's a YouTube video of it somewhere.
