transmission shift cable and shift leval at transaxle
what holds the shift cable to the shift lever cause whatever fastened them is worn out,suggestions how to secure them together. This is on a 2007 hhr

I am not sure what your linkage on the HHR looks like, but when this happened on my Trailblazer, I drilled out the old connector and used a small shoulder bolt and nut to connect the cable to the arm on the transmission. It worked well.
