About 60K on my 05 Impala, started shifting hard about 4 months ago but only sporadically.
Since its gotten colder its been better but I just drove up to KC 180 miles and had no problems on the highway or in town, drove back to Wichita 180 miles and about 5 miles from home began shifting hard 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. It has also gone hard from a stop to beginning accelleration, other times it shifts as smooth as ever. Man I hate to put $1500 into a car that is 3 years old. Tranny fluid was changed about 3 months ago also but it was shifting hard before that.
It seems when it gets warm it does this and when you are not at highway speeds.
Can they diagnose it when it so hard to replicate the problem? Any ideas????????????????????????????????????????

Oh, by the way transmission shops are 2nd on my list of people not to trust, lawyers are 1st, and auto dealers are 3rd.
