Hey, got some questions for some old Hot Rod guys...
Hey ive got a 1966 Impala and ive been trying to learn as much history on the car as i can. So in doing this i wrote down the ID plate from the firewall in search of its info. But i cant find anywhere i can decode it. I would get the vin but i do not have the keys at the time (had to kinda store with my stepdad till i can afford to restore it). I wasnt sure what to search for and i had herd that there are books that could tell me just about everything but ownership to the car. the codes on the plate goes like this:
ST 66-16469 Jan 4142 Body
TR 842-A C-C Paint (white on white, all ive gotten so far)
W 2R3B
Hope i can learn as much as possible.
