Default 07 Impala ABS,TC, Brake, DIC Brake Assist Message

My 07 Chevy Impala recently displayed a brake assist error message along with the Anti-lock brake System and Traction Control system fault lights displayed on the instrument panel. After checking each wheel speed sensor for proper electrical resistance and finding no problem I was left with checking the wiring between the sensors and the anti-lock brake cable connector. The front wheel wiring checked out okay but I could not get continuity from either real wheel sensors to the anti-lock brake connector. Thinking it must be a loose wiring connector somewhere between the rear cabling to the front anti-lock brake connector I was surprised to find a "dangling" cable with no connector on it in front of the trunk floor pan depression under the car. For some totally unknown and mysterious reason the wiring cable had broken completely off from the connector, all four wires, with the connector still plugged into another larger cable properly. No sign of being cut, snagged or otherwise damaged. The only rational conclusion is that vibration or air stream buffeting must have eventually worked the cable to the stress point resulting in it breaking.

Negative, connector latch not broken. The connector was in place with the wires broken about a quarter inch from the connector.
