Default 12 Impala

I got my wife a 2012 Impala. The 300 or so horses are AWESOME!! Got a problem. She pitched me the keys. I dropped them and the battery popped out. Battery is 3 vold DC of course, and it checks at 3.12 as does the one the dealer gave me which doesn't work to start. I need to program them BUT there is no owner's manual and youtube doesn't show it. I tried following it but the guy pressed in info button on the dash and it said to wait to see "relearn remote". Mine doesn't show that. Man, If I didn't have no hair on top, it'd be gone. Anyone help is appreciated. I can record the vid on my phone and go to my car and try it if you can do a walk through. man, I can't tell you how much I am thankful if any can help. Thanks guys and God bless! Sincerely, David.

I wouldn't think you have to reprogram the remote to the car if the battery came out unless the remote was damaged and inoperable and you are replacing it with a new one.
