Default 1960 Impala

Have a 1960 Impala with factory 283. Friend gave me a TH350 that's about a 1983 year model. It was rebuilt about 2,000 miles ago. Does anyone know if I can use it on my 283. I have a Rochester 4GC. The 350 has kick down cable attached but it has been cut off. I know they make the cable and adaptors for other types of carbs. but not a hint if they make same for Rochester's. Any hints or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bruce C.

Probably will need an adaptor plate if there is one, otherwise you'll have to just check the bolt pattern ect. to see if it will bolt on. The kick down is probably a rod, not a cable
