Default 2000 Impala driver side vents

Hello I have a 2000 Impala and the driver side vents do not blow out cold air with the a/c on. Has anyone had this problem and if so did you fix it yourself, or take it somewhere (how much $). Any thoughts or suggestions would help thanks

Does it blow out any air at all? If so how warm is the air compared to the passenger side?

It does blow air, the passanger side is ice cold, however the drivers side is like just having the vent on without the a/c. I talked to someone at my work and they said there is a baffel under the dash that might be stuck, but I have been unable to locate it.

i had the prob with my blazer. this might sound stupid but it was blowing air on the pas. side cold but not on the drivers side i found out it was the vents somone had switched them from fan to outside air with the little switch by the vent itsself. might not be the prob with yours but worth a check at least.

Thanks for the reply, I don't think I have that on my car. They look like standard vents with everything controlled through the switches in the dash. I am assuming the switch would look like some sort of on/off switch. The other strange thing is the temperature gadge on the consol ( for inside temperature) is about 30 to 40 degrees lower then the actual temperature.
