Default 2001 Impala Rear Defrost

I have a 2001 Impala and am having a problem with the rear defrost. It stopped working a few weeks ago. I checked all the connections(there are 4) and noticed that they are tight except for one of them. The one I am referring to has actually been detached from the window. It looks to me like this was fastened to the window in a solder like fashion. Can I just solder this back on and if I do can anyone give me a heads up on this? My wife has also told me that this is affecting her FM radio signal as well since the antenna is built into the rear windshield. I am by no means a good mechanic, but I like to do things on my own when I can. Thanks to all who care to help!
