I have a 2001 Impala LS with the dual climate option. Just over a month ago, I replaced my blower motor and the blower motor resistor pack. The motor went out and took the resistor pack with it. Starting about 5 days ago speed 4 went out and if I smack the climate control module or the dash above the motor, it might turn on. It is completely random if it will turn back on and I have tried both spots, as mentioned above, and again it works occasionally. Is this a climate control module issue or a blower motor resistor issue? I am thoroughly stumped.

 

Buy quality parts. I once bought the cheapest blower I could find and got exactly what I paid for... it only lasted a few months.
