Default 2002 Impala LS O2 sensor live data

Hi,

I took a live data reading with my scanner, The first Scan showed no code thrown. I did a second scan and it show a 0140 as a set code and a 0134 as a pending code. Both are O2 sensor codes. On the print out I see the #1 sensor fluctuates and shows 0 voltage. The #2 sensor stays at a steady 450 with 0 volts. Should they both be showing some voltage. Does the fact that the #2 sensor doesn't fluctuate mean it's bad ( I just replaced it).
Any comments are appreciated.

Steve

depends which 02 sensor your talking about. both are supplied a bias voltage of 450mvolts until they reach operating temperature. the precat 02 should switch rapdily, the post cat 02 should not.

make sure the 02 heater sensor fuses are good.
