on my 2002 impala the trunk support struts was taken out by my son some time back, i went to put 2 new in today and now wonder if someone can tell me do the strut rods face up, down or one up and one down? My son dont remember, with both installed down when i open the trunk it flyes open and slams at the top thinking something is going ot brake. can any one help. thanks glen

 

I don't know really, but if both ends have the same style connector then I don't see why it would matter. It should work either way
