Hi All! I am new and glad to be a member of chevy lovers! I have a 2004 Impala with a problem with the radio. I was at a friends house and my girlfriend's cousin tried to stick a cd in my radio and didnt use common sense to eject the old cd. So the original cd got stuck and the radio was making clicking noises. I got the noise to stop and removed the cd, but the cd player will not pull cds anymore. If i get an aftermarket radio, will i still be able to reset my message center. I would appreciate any and all assistance in this matter because the radio is driving me nuts! Thanks all!

 

You won't be able to reset anything or make any other changes with out the correct radio.You will probably have to do a radioexchange
at a Chevy dealer.
Idoubt if its possible to get another exact radio from a wrecker and install it in this caras the radio remembers part of the car's VIN#.
