I get 10psi oil pressure at start up. Oil psi increases under power to 20 psi. After driving for a little bit i come to a stop and i get a low oil pressure warning. Ive had the oil pressure sending unit replaced. Used a mechanical gauge on the filter at idle 20 - 25 psi under power it goes up to 40-50 psi. So with these kinds of pressures the oil pump is good. The gauges were replaced and still with new gauges it reads low on idle and under power. Any ideas???????

 

What viscosity oil?

 

i was running 5w 30, but because of the high mileage it was suggested i run 30w
