There is no noise coming from the pump when the ignition is in acc/on. I had to slam on the breaks to avoid rear ending a car. My car started to shudder, then died. And became a crank no start. Is there an access panel? Or a switch? I really don't want to drop the tank to fix this. also, when I turn the car in the on position, the gas tank reads at empty, or the gauges will freak out, then will be pinned at full. There is only 1/2 tank of gas. I also got a code that was for low pressure in the gas tank? The car has 153,*** miles on it

 

pretty sure there is an access panel in the trunk for the fuel pump. remove the trunk carpet and inspect.
