had all my factory keys stolen so i had to purchase a new aftermarket P3 key from a locksmith .he was unable to program the key he supplied due to what he says was a weak battery so he gave me instructions on the 3-10 reprogram. not sure if im doing it right now . Battery is new so that issue should be taken care of. DIC says STARTING DISABLED . during the 3-10 procedure my anti theft light never goes off after the 10 minutes...please if anyone can give me the exact factory procedure for this or help me figure this out id be so happy .

 

if you have option code z49 (check the rpo build sheet in the glove box) the 30 min relearn won't work.
it may require a scan tool to reprogram the bcm....which is dealer only as the programming info is obtained from a cloud based server.

 

I also have purchased one from locksmith edison nj but it doesn't work well and it ends up visiting dealer.
