Hello, I have 06 impala with a service battery charging station message and battery light on. Start at present took old alternator in to auto zone have it tested. Let's just say the results I got made me mad lol (good alt.). So far I have replaced alt, starter, battery and no luck at this rate I'll have to replace the battery again. Any information on where to start first. I have a multimeter but not a voltage meter. Also fusible link info or alternator fuse would b helpful

 

a multimeter that doesn't have a voltmeter?...you need to measure voltage to test anything electrical on a vehicle

so whats the charging voltage at?
