I had a odd thing happen. Started up my 2007 Impala, but the A/C didn't come on. In fact, none of the controls were lit up. Also, the outside temperature display showed"- - -" (3 dashes) instead of the temp. I turned the car off and restarted it, everything back to normal.

What's that about? Has anyone heard of this?

have not heard of it on an 07...
but have seen glitches that pop up once- never to return.
I have an 03 Trailblazer..... in the 6 years Ive had it-2 times it will make a pop sound thru the speakers- and the clock resets...
the stations are ok...
its only happened2 times so random...
but why? who knows- it still works...

Same thing happened. No A/C or heater fan or any any other climate controls until I shut off and restarted the car. 2007 Impala. I also hope this never returns. I have had the car only a few months.

 

I like the acceleration of the 3.9 motor in my 2007 Impala. However I don't get an even steady acceleration, it rather surges forward till at steady speed unless I use an easy foot. I just had a professional induction service performed and only slightly improved this issue.
