Default 2008 Chevrolet Impala LS

Hey everyone, I came across a problem with my 2008 Chevrolet Impala LS. My key is stuck in the ignition, breaks are locked and my shifter is lock too. I don't know a thing about this car so I'm not sure what going on with it. My key can turn but will not start the car and won't turn off. For a moment I heard a clicking sound when I tried to crank my car and The light would work. Now I can't heard the clicking noise when I crank it nor do the lights come on. I'm convince the battery Is dead now but not sure why my key is stuck in the ignition. I can't pump my break or get my car out of park. Can you guys help me out ?

Do you have the floor shifter, or the steering wheel?

my dads would stick because it was column shift, & turning the wheel a few times before shifting solved it...

All the problems are caused because the battery is dead, replace the battery, your key will work fine again along with everything else.
