I believe that there is two blend door actuators on your '08 Impala. They are listed as key #1 and #6 in this diagram:

I too am having this same problem in the wife's car it is dual climate so how do I know which actuator to replace and how difficult are they to change any help would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance
