Default 2008 Impala Right rear turn signal/brake light

2008 Impala right rear brake light/turn signal doesn’t work. The bulb isn’t blown and the fuse is fine. The front right turn signal works fine. I noticed that when I have the right turn signal on its faster versus the left when looking at the dash and hearing the tone. Upon some research it could come from a blown bulb but my bulb is fine. When the headlights are on the right rear taillight is on. It all appears to be the same bulb that does the night time running(don’t know the name), brake and turn signal.

there are two filaments in an incandescent bulb for a vehicle.. one for high power and one for low power. the high power filament is likely not working. the high power filament is for brake/turn signal. the low power filament is for rear marker/parking lights when the headlights are on. the fast flashing is letting you know one of the bulbs is not functioning properly.

the first step is to inspect the bulb or swap in a new bulb to rule the bulb out. If it still doesn't work...check for battery voltage at the connector...key on engine off signal on.
