2008 Impala SS Starting Issues
So after the recent holidays, I found the battery on my 2008 Impala SS had been dead. I wasn't able to tend to the problem until this month due to being on a training op (Stationed at 29 palms, ca).
I came back today, replaced the battery and went to start the car. It wouldn't crank.
The car clearly has full power, and when I leave it in the key in the ON position, it cycles through a lot of error messages (Stabilitrak, Change oil, etc.)
When I go try and turn the engine over, it makes a single click and all the power in the car flickers. It does nothing after that, except continue making single intermittent click if I hold it. Release it back to the ON position, and it goes through the same error messages.
Any help would be appreciated. If you need pictures or a video, I'll get them.

check the battery connection as a loose terminal will cause this. Is your new battery discharged? there is no big load on the battery until its cranked over.
