I bought a used 2009 Chevy impala exactly 8 days ago, has about 129k miles on it; drives smoothly , hasn’t given me a problem; until 3 days ago, I was at a drive thru and the check engine light came on, with the engine light on I’ve still been driving around town without obvious problems, hasn’t made any noises, no sensations. Does anyone know why the engine light is on ? Anyone know what I should do or what it could be ?
