2014 impala splash guard??
I've been noticing every time I hit a puddle or today when I did an underbody car wash that there is an usually large amount of "steam" coming out the grill and engine bay? I went into a store afterwards and a woman asked me was my car smoking...
I've only had the car a week and it just strikes me as awkward like there is no splash guard or something...
Any one else experience something similar?

When I saw your question and the post you made in the other thread near the top of the page, I knew I had seen a question about something similar. Couldn't remember if it was on here or not, but after going back some pages I found it:
Smoke/steam coming from front end of car on 2014 impala after car wash
An admin posted what is probably the answer you are looking for:

When you wash your vehicle, are you going through an automated car wash?
If so, often times the automated ones have a under body flush that will shoot water under the vehicle, that water hitting the exhaust system will instantly turn to steam...the catalytic converter alone can reach temps of 1000 degrees. (this is why you should never pull off into tall grass in a car)
Steam after a car wash or going though a puddle of water is normal...
