Well gentlemen, the problem is solved! I know it has been quite a while since I posted here or updated this saga, but the short version goes like this:
I took the car back to the dealer a fifth and final time. This time they replaced the controller, and it STILL misbehaved. So here I am, just over a year into this thing and it has a new condenser, expansion valve, compressor, AND controller, and it still doesn't work. So I go back over to the sales manager and tell him I am done...find me another car just like this one. His response? Oh I wish I could. The best I can do is make you a bottom line deal on a '16 or '17.
Really? You expect me to spend more money in this joint? Needless to say, I went off on him and left before I was escorted.....
So how did that solve my problem? It didn't. But I went and traded that car on a new Toyota Tacoma. Matter of fact, even traded the 07 Suburban on a new Highlander. Sorry GM, but Luck Checvrolet in Ashland, Virginia ruined a 27 year loyalty streak, and I went and spent 70K elsewhere.
