Has anyone heard of this happening?

I started my car today, it was about the third time. There were a series of service popups: Theft Deterrent, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Anti-Skid, Airbags. My gas gauge was dead. Speedometer was dead. Real Time gas mileage was dead. The car still started and drove just fine. It was just disconcerting not knowing how fast I was going. (Eventually I hooked up my old GPS since it has a readout for speed.

Is this just as something simple as a fuse? Or is there some loose wire somewhere? Or is something seriously wrong?
