66 impala ss

i have a 66 impala ss with a BB 396 what can i bore it out to then next size up and what is the most i can bore it out to

Most commonly the next overbore is .030" and most I know of is .060 but that would depend on the block. You may be able to buy custom pistons if after the block was sonic tested for wall thickness it was deemed feasible to go more.
