66 impala wires

I have a light and dark green wires under the hood with a 90 deg. connector does anyone know what these are for? They com from the loom by the fire wall.

Stretch them out and see what they will reach and connect to. more than likely they were added for something that is no longer on the car.

Thats what i thought i had some one put a 502 in and when the car came back the wires were laying there. Just trying to fix the little things I don't like. Some one said water temp or speedo.
