Okay, so I've had my impala going onto 4 years and I still want to know what the hell is that smell coming out the AC? It smells bad with cool air and with the heat on too. does any one know what that smell is and if I can get rid of it??? thanks.....

 

Probably mold, turn the air on and spray lysol in the air intake ahead of the windshied, I have had that problem & cured it with this method.

 

where do I spray the lysol? in side or out side???

 

OUTSIDE in the air intake for the heater/air cond.
Be sure to leave the windows
down on the car, and run the air for awhile after spraying.
Air cond must be in fresh air mode

lol...Lysol should hopefull work...on a side note tho, I have seen everything from mouse nests, to dead frogs, to birds in the herter vents and blower motor openings, after awhile they tend to smell a bit to...

 

change ur cabin air filter...thats prob ur problem
