Default Air intake installation

I installed an aftermarket intake for my car and realized it was screwing up my mass air flow sensor. So now I want to install my orignial airbox and need help as to how I put it back in.
Also, if anyone has an idea as to why the aftermarket intake would mess up my car and make it hesistate then that would be great too!

How long did you have it in? Most of the time a car will hesitate at first, but then learn how to deal with the extra air after a few trips.

ive had it in for probably a good year. I had my codes scanned at a shop and they told me there was a problem with my intake and said I should put the stock one back in.
You think it could just be a connection problem where I had to put the different sensors in the intake pipe?

I'm thinking so. You could have a malfunctioning IAT sensor.Do you have the average IAT readings?

I actually think that may have worked. I just installed a new battery while I still had the check engine light on and now it hasn't been on yet. So hopefully this means I can still keep my intake!
Thanks for the help though.

bad news.. the check engine light is coming on again and I feel it hesitated again. Ah!!!
I took the intake off and clamped it back on just to make sure nothing was wrong with it. You said I should have unhooked the battery while I did this?

Also..you think it may just be better to put the stock air box back on? this could end the problem and probably give me better gas mileage. Im open for suggestions

You need to run the codes. I happened to think about...It may bea loose connection you may have inadvertently casued when you installed the intake.

I went to a shop and they ran the codes and told me that I needed to install the stock airbox because the aftermarket one was causing the problems.
Would it help if I posted an upclose picture of the connections?
