Default AutoStop car didn’t turn back on

I really dislike this AutoStop feature and I’ve had an issue at times where the car turns off when I come to a stop but then when I let go of the brakes the car doesn’t turn back on. I have to put the car in park and press the Engine Start button to turn the car back on. I’ve had the car for less than a year and it’s happened twice already within the last 2 months. Any ideas on what I could do? It’s a 2018 Impala

legally they can't permanently disable autostop without changing the epa ratings.

Not enough info provided to answer the question. Maybe a shop can retrieve codes for a starting point. the dealer may have programming updates that address the issue. Do you have warranty or a service contract?

If they find no problem....if it uses dual batteries have them isolated and tested individually.
