Default Bluetooth capable?

I have a 2010 Impala LT. It seems to have many features. However, I tried to pair my phone and nothing happened.
I read somewhere that with the last 8 VIN characters the features can be determined. The last 8 of my VIN are:A1244092.
Anyone know how to have the search done or where I can go to search it?
Thanks in advance.

If it has BT it should be on your radio dash display. You have to be stopped or the Impala wont let you pair it. Set the dash control to BT, start scanning with your phone doing the same. Should give you a code, but on my Bu' you just pair it up when it asks. Its kind of stupid but you have to give the paired units an audible name. Oy vey!
