Default camshaft position (cmp) actuator solenoid control circuit

My wire got shredded in the engine and I want to just add a wire on ends to simply reconnect the 2 ends but what if any type of wire is available or can I just use any type of automotive electric wire? It's a 2006 ls model with the 3.5 flex fuel if that matters...

just get a piece of wire about the same size that your oem wire is and you should be good to go.

I'm still having that same problem after soldering it together no grounding through the wires but thanks for the input
