Default Cel code,

My daughter has a CEL on her 2000 Impala, here is the pertinent info from my AutoEnginuity software, Any ideas where to start trouble shooting?
I checked the plugs on the electric fans, they are hooked up. Where is the control circuit?

i would think its a bad motor on the secondary fan or a bad relay on the secondary fan. the secondary fan is the fan on the passenger side of the car.

Ok, well I have checked further, there was a blown fuse on the #2 control. I replaced it reset the CEL, and it took a day, but it's back. I have hot wired both fans individually and ran to battery. PASSENGER side is smooth and quiet. DRIVERS side is noisy and the wire gets HOT fast when it spins. Maybe your wrong on which is which? (Not a big deal...) OR maybe the plugs got switched sometime.. who knows. But I imagine that fan is the culprit. How hard to change the fan and motor? Also, where do you get them? (ORileys carry them maybe? I'll call)

Ok, I have the bracket/pair of fan/motors out, and need to know how do you replace one? Do you have to drill out the three points where they anchor into the large bracket or what? Also there is a nut on the fan, I assume that it has to come off too?
I called O'Rileys, it looks like the motor is a dealer only item?
