Talking Check that Cabin Air Filter

I changed mine last night and am ashamed I let it get that bad. Third filter for this car and it made a huge difference in air flow and cabin odor. Check you owners guide to see if your ride is so equipped.

Good thread, I have been putting mine off too long and its been 6 years since it was new, I even have the new one already in the garage. I know that smell your talking about. Its a few screws and covers to get to it on my silverado but its easy.

Thanks Sauce, yeah it's got to be simple for me to do it. My 06 has these little plastic two-piece keeper plugs (which are a pain) and me leaning my fat butt over the fender with this bum knee wasn't to pleasant either....but it's done. I just wanted to remind others because it completely slipped my mind.

Where is it in an 07 Impala? I don't have a service manual.

Sauce, can you leave DaveB a link? Those two piece plugs are a pain if you don't know about how to get 'em apart. Dave, '06 and up are in the same location (over fan intake under hood on passenger side. I'm bettin' HotSauce6226 is on it though. Thanks

I will know where to look for it now. I wanted to check it out to see if it needed to be replaced since I didn't know there was one until this thread.

Thanks
Dave
