Coldair intake on '08 Impala LTZ.
Anyone put a coldair intake on their Impala? I have an 08 LTZ with the 3.9 and was wondering about the performance and mileage gains that are talked about. Right now we get around 27 to 29 mpg on the hwy but would love more. Please let me know what you have done and the results.

I purchased a CAI from ColdAirInductions and am very pleased with the enhanced performance from my 3.9l. I also recommend a tune from either Trifecta Performance
or Jet (yes, Jet!)Performance. The former requires a PC and internet connection for use
but the latter is a "piggyback" configuration that requires removal of the ECM for installation (quite simple actually!) I highly recommend the CAI/ tune combination for a pleasant and discernible performance increase from your 3.9L.
