I went to mavis and they quoted me 559.99 plus tax on a new brake caliper and for my two rear wheels. I ended up paying 512 with 8% tax included. I am wondering if it's possible to get them done cheaper for my front wheels.

It depends what part of the country you are. I paid a total of $425 for both back brakes with rotors, labor on my 03 suburban.

labour time for an 08 impala both rear calipers, including bleeding the system is 1.8hrs
caliper costs maybe $100 each depending on the quality, door rate maybe $120/hr.... i've seen $150 hr in the city.
1.8 hours x $120hr door rate = $216 + $200 parts x 8% = $450

not that far off. shop around for door rates; call different shops. try rockauto or a1autoparts for online parts quotes

labour rate for the front calipers is the same: 1.8 hours
