Front end vibrates
I have a 2002 Impala 3.4. I had bad tires and the front started wobbling. I replaced all tires new, balanced and had a complete wheel alignment. Was told I need new rotors and brakes in front. Did not have them do it, being this is something I can do myself. Tires were changed a few days ago and was going to do the breaks this weekend. Well the front is fine except when I hit 55 or faster. The front end will wobble at 55 or faster. Not real bad but you definitely notice it. If I hit the breaks kinda fast then it will wobble kinda bad. Under this speed there is no problem. Could this be that it needs new rotors or breaks? Or a problem with new tires or alignment done wrong? This was done a a major tire place so I know I can bring it to them if it is something on there end. One more thing, before all this my front end was great. I put used tires on my car when I saw I needed tires. It was then that the wobbling started, with the new used tires trying to save money. With the used tires it started the wobbling no matter what the speed. So I just went and had brand new tires installed, now it wobbles when you go over 55.
