Default Headlights problem

The stock headlights on my 05 impala would stay on night and day no matter what and then i put in some halos and they would do the same. I wanted to hook up a switch to the headlights so they would always be off unless i needed them, like at night when i would turn them on. Idk what happened but now they turn off during the day and will automatically turn on when its dark or at night. This pretty much solves my problem except for one thing, the halos and leds turn on and off too. I want the halos and leds to be on all the time and the headlights to turn on and off. If you have any ideas, please tell me, ill try it and keep you updated on the situation.

Thanks,
Phil
