Hungry Muskrat
A muskrat got into the garage and chewed some wiring in my wife's 2005 3.4 Impala. The connector to the cruise control box was chewed and I repaired that. It also chewed off a harness on the left strut tower that has a 20 pin round connector. There are 4 purple wires and 4 green wires in this connector plus other individual colors. Can anyone provide a schematic of this harness/connector? The purple and green wires are a challenge. Yes, justice was served to Mr. Muskrat.
An update which may help someone else. While putting on new micropack terminals I studied the pattern of the wire colors in the harness where they were taped together near the connector. This allowed me to figure out where some of the multiple green and purple wires were located in the connector. Luckily the car started on the first try. I have a couple codes that where not present several months ago. I cannot say for certain they are caused by this wiring as the check engine light has been going on and off for some time over intermittent minor causes. There may still be crossed wires as I cannot clear the stored codes. This morning I did find a schematic for this plug online. The check engine light output wire runs through this plug.

I will take another look at how I rewired the plug. I hope nobody else has to go through this.
