Impala 10th Generation 2014< New Owners
Hi All,
Just got my new 2014 Impala and wanted to connect with other new owners and potential new owners for general information exchange.
I traded in a beautiful 2011 Toyota Avalon on my new beauty and I love it. I have been driving Toyotas for the past 7+ years and before that it was a Honda Acord. My last Chevy was a 2001 Impala.
I had no intention of buying a new car, but after taking my wife to get a Malibu the finance guy talked me into looking at the new Impala. I was hooked as soon as I saw it, sitting in it and taking a test drive made the sale.
It is one of the nicest cars I have ever driven, comfortable, powerful and in my opinion a beautiful, sexy looking machine. I am still getting use to all the tech in it. I have had Toyota tech for the past many years and it is just different. I am amazed at all the high tech they packed into it. I already had to call Chevy MyLink tech support once and I am sure it will not be the last time. I spent 20 minutes looking for the fule door relapse until I realized it did not have one. That seems strange to me but just because I am so use to having a button to push to unlock it from the inside, not just a push to open situation.
I hope other owners will feel free to comment and list any cool or interesting things they find. Feel free to ask me anything about mine.
Thanks,
James

I have test driven one. Nice car. The steering is effortless. Good power but it still has that annoying fwd hum/whine. They have incredible room. The dash and controls are nice too.
