I'm wondering if I should buy a newer Chevy Impala. I see that this is the last year they're making them. I don't want to buy a GM sedan with a 4 cylinder turbo or downsize to a car on the Malibu platform in a few years.
Does it seem to everyone else that GM is pushing buyers to crossovers or SUV's?

Agree.
Ford today announced it will phase out most cars it sells in North America. According to its latest financial release, the auto giant “will transition to two vehicles” — the Mustang and an unannounced vehicle, the Focus Active, being the only traditional cars it sells in the region. Ford sees 90 percent of its North America portfolio in trucks, utilities and commercial vehicles.

Well, I went with a 2019 Impala Midnight Edition. The Buick Regal's trunk wasn't wide enough to put my bicycle in. That was a deal breaker for the Regal. I have to be able to take my bike with me to ride around different parts of the Tulsa metro area. I'm glad I stuck with the Impala. I really love the way it looks without so much chrome! The black bowties are a nice touch as well.
Thanks for the input, everyone!

Is it the same grill for 2014 - 2020? (Yes, Chevy is making a very limited batch of '20 Impalas). If so, that could broaden the options for vendors.
