Impala Picture Database
Here is my car. 1977 Impala built in November of 1976. Needs paint but it is one strong machine. Still the original 305, rebuilt TH200R original tranny and only 76K total miles for it 31 years. AC is R134a compliant, has CD/Radio, 9C1 gage cluster, 3rd brake light that I custom installed. It is still a great travel car (my family and I love the roominess) and I am not afraid to go from coast to coast in it.
I am new to this site, but not new to GM. This is my 2007 SS.I have done no performance upgrades but I have smoked the windows. I believe for the money these cars give you more bang for your buck. There are not many cars out there whereyou can get 300hp,4dr's,with average comfort, and average fuel milage. It's great to pull up to a stoplight with a young boy in a mustang rev's his engine at you,and all you do is grin and let him get about two cars ahead, get beside him and floor it,the tires break traction and his jaw drops as you go by him. What a great feelin

1966 Chevrolet Impala NY City Police car. The color scheme is black to the windshield, and then green with police shield(with Dutchman and Native holding twigs) to the tail, with white top with one strobe light(red/white) and one wailer siren positioned over the driver seat.
You ll see a lot of these in early episodes of the TV show Kojak with Telly Savalas and many in the French Connection(1971) with Roy Kohn and Gene Hackman.
