Default Low Coolant message

I had my coolant system flushed recently. Now I'v noticed the low coolant light come on a couple times , but then goes out. Yesterday I was on the freeway and it went on. Once I exited the Freeway it went out. There is no sign of overheating. What's going on?

Thanks

Steve

Did you check the level in the coolant tank? It might be at the low level where it trips the light occasionally.

I had the low coolant level sensor get "fussy" on my Impala. It would read low when the car was cold, but the level was fine. I got a new sensor and the problem went away.

I have that issue to date on my lumina. Replaced it with a $10 amazon, two months later same thing, replaced it with a $50 autozone. If I drive it highway, it will go out. Just around town, stays on. This is a @#$#@ to replace because of the location.

Took my car to the shop yesterday for an alignment along with of other problems to diagnose. They found one of the elbows attached to the tensioner was cracked. I told them to replace both. They also said both the upper and lower intake manifolds was leaking. I'm thinking possibly the upper, but since there has been no change in my oil color or viscosity I doubt it's the lower. Plus coolant leaking from the elbow would make you think it's leaking from the lower. I told them to hold off on the manifolds repair. Besides I know a guy who is an ex-GM mechanic that can repair it a lot cheaper. I'll drive it for a while to see if I still get the low coolant light.
Another note my bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor was throwing a 0134 code after engine warmed up. I had them re-test the sensor (I had already tested it) and the figured out it was the EGR valve or pigtail causing the problem. I guess I'll see after I pick it up tomorrow

I have the low fluid level go on every time I start the car. When I removed the sensor I saw the float was completely gone. Fill the res and replace the sensor, but I'm still getting the warning light. Thoughts?
