Default my 2005 impala has rear drum brakes, but everything says it should be disk

so I have a 2005 chevy impala with the 3.4 and I went to rock auto to see what they had for rear drum brakes and they show nothing. same story with oreillys website.

anybody ever have this issue?

and where can I find what I need?

Have you removed the rear wheels yet and seen it for your self ? If it actually has Drums, can you post pics ? There is a drum brake inside the disc brake rotor that is used for the parking brake only and is much smaller than a traditional drum brake. The Parking Brake Shoes rarely need to be replaced. The drum for them is cast into the actual brake rotor. I do not think Chevrolet built a 2000-2013 (W-Body) Impala with Drum Brakes, not even for Commercial or Police Use. It would actually decrease braking performance and be counter productive.
