I have recently bought a Chevy Impala LTX with the 3.6. I love this car, however I would love it even more if I could find a way to do anything serious to increase the horsepower. Anything you folks would like to share would be extremely helpful, thank you

From what I've read, the 3.6L that produces 323 HP is detuned and used in the Impala. What they do to detune it would be a start and since there are probably loads of parts for the Camaro, some of them could POSSIBLY be used in the Impala.

I think you will find the major differences between the Camaro version of this engine and the Impala is better flowing exhaust system, better flowing air intake and some PCM Tuning. Camaro is rwd, so certain pieces will not fit fwd LFX engine.

And isn't the transmission a lot better in the Camaro? Not sure the FWD could handle much more.
