Default Need some help!

Hi! I am new here. I have a chevy impala -65 but there is no engine and transmisson in it!! I really hope find out what engine and transmisson it should be in the car.

There is no real way to tell. The VIN number doesn't give all that info. If you have a clutch pedal and no PRNDL in the dash then you did not have an automatic. Check the fenders for an emblem that might a V which would mean it had a V8. If it has dual exhaust then it had a large V8. This all applies if someone did not make changes in the past.

The problem is that it is a clutchpedal and a automatic shifter and its welded shut a hole in the floor.
The emblems on the fenders are 396 turbojet but I dont know if they are original.
