No lights on radio
I apologize for the electrical issues that you are experiencing. I would like to help by possibly getting you into a preferred dealership on your behalf to have them look into it. If you would like me to assist please PM me your VIN, current mileage, contact info and preferred dealership. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Patsy,
Thank you very much for your quick response to my question and I appreciate your help. I take my car to the same dealer (Luther Chevrolet, Brooklyn Center, MN). But I'd like to fix it myself.
Have a wonderful day.

A short in the wire or burnt out bulb... Open it up and take a look?!! Have you tried giving it a good whack? (not on the keys)
My old 2002 cavalier radio dial was SUPER hot all the time, I'm surprised it didn't burn out.. I'm guessing the heat sink was there... turning down the dash lights helped some.
