2000 impala when i take off slow or hit the gas hard it runs and shifts fine but if i take off normal it shifts hard and shutters some. does this sound lie the tranny solenoid? lock out solenoid? please help. just got the car and it has 183xxx

 

The computer sensed a slip in the trans and raised the line pressure to compensate for it .That causes a hard shift . Some trans shops will tell you solenoid problems possible .But with 183000 miles I would bet on a complete rebuild .Been there done that on 2 Gm cars .It cost me about 1500 to rebuild . That sucks, Good luck
