Default Please identify this Impala.

I just watched the Bollywood movie made in 2014, where the hero drove this car, and he called it, an Impala. It looks very much like a large Corvair. But it is much bigger than any Corvair I ever saw.

It is also supposed to be new. I was unable to get a good picture but there's a vent right behind the rear cowl that could indicate it is rear or mid-engine. Any ideas what this beast could be?

It's defiantly a 66-69 Corvair, but it looks as if the grill pieces were added, as no Corvair had grill openings.

Thank you, I guess the people in the movie just called it, an Impala. Classic American cars are Very big deal in India.
